ANNOUNCEMENT

Call for topics and reporters

In 2006 (16-22 July), the XVIIth International Congress of Comparative Law will be held in Utrecht, the Netherlands; see the announcement in EJCL: http://www.ejcl.org/72/editor72.html. As usual, the International Academy of Comparative Law, under whose auspices the congress will be organised, will select the topics to be discussed at the congress. The topics must be within one of the categories listed below. For each topic, national reports will be written, each report containing information about the situation in the particular country. On the basis of these national reports, a general reporter then writes a report in which the information thus gathered is summarised and analysed on a comparative basis. Both the national reports and the general report are discussed at the relevant session, during which views on the topic will be exchanged.

The Netherlands Comparative Law Association coordinates the drafting of the Dutch national reports and herewith invites scholars and legal practitioners in the Netherlands to submit proposals for potential topics and to suggest the names of reporters.
