HOW TO NAVIGATE THE EJCL PAGES

EJCL homepage
The EJCL pages have been designed to make navigation as easy as possible. From the EJCL homepage it is possible to jump to general information about the journal, to jump to information about subscription to the journal's electronic mail alerting service and to find guidelines for authors wishing to submit articles.
The articles published can be found by clicking on the link for the current issue or by clicking on the archives link for current and back issues.
The main navigational buttons are at the bottom of each EJCL page. These buttons allow the reader quick access to the archives section, the comments option, the search function and the EJCL homepage, as well as access to this page with general help.

Issue, abstracts and (review) articles
The current issue link, or links to issues from the archives section, will bring the reader to the table of contents page of the selected issue. From there, readers can follow links to abstracts and review articles (both in HTML) before deciding whether to download an article. From the abstract it is possible to jump to the full text version of the article by clicking on the link at the bottom of the web page.

Up to and including volume 9.4 (December 2005), the full texts of all articles were published in HTML format. With a web browser these articles can be navigated clicking on the internal links in the table of contents of an article to sections of the article. Notes are linked to the end of the article, where they are listed.

As of volume 10.1 (June 2006), and with the exception of review articles, HTML versions of articles are no longer published. Instead, articles are offered in an improved and interactive PDF format. As this format supports clickable tables of contents, footnotes and bookmarks, it is very suitable for quick web viewing through the free downloadable Acrobat Reader.

For the purpose of downloading all articles are available in Word and PDF format. Articles published before 2006 (up to and including vol. 9.4) can also be downloaded in WordPerfect and ASCII format.

Archives
The EJCL archives page gives access to current and back issues of the journal. This page also offers an index of authors, review articles, titles of articles and announcements.

Search EJCL
All EJCL pages, including articles published, can be searched for the occurrence of one or more search terms. EJCL uses the Google search engine. Type one or more search terms into the search box and hit the 'Enter' key or click on the Google search button. By default, Google only returns pages that include all search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms. For results that only include an exact phrase, put double quotation marks around the search terms. Google searches are NOT case sensitive. All letters, regardless of how they are typed, will be understood as lower case.

Comments
By clicking on the Comments button at the bottom of each page, the WWW browser's mail option is invoked to send a message to the assistant editor. Alternatively, readers can mail the assistant editor directly at EJCL@uvt.nl.
